Lexi Sundell has a distinctive style of painting hard to capture in still photographs. She alternates layers of paint and clear gel so light refracts within the paint layers, creating a different kind of luminosity than usually seen in acrylics.

Her work has been shown in multiple museums and published in several books. Her painting, Something in the Air, sold at the Russell auction in 2015.
