About the Fly Fishing Paintings

Bern Sundell is highly respected for his fly fishing series of paintings and prints. He has been fly fishing since he was nine years old in Montana and painting for nearly as long. This painting series combines his two great passions into works of art that inspire and celebrate the fishing experience.

Bern has shown at the Yellowstone Art Museum for three years in a row. His work is featured in numerous publications, most particularly his new book, Bern Sundell Fly Fishing Paintings. His work has been selected for the annual limited edition print for the Madison-Gallatin Trout Unlimited chapter and for the Ennis on the Madison Fly Fishing Festival Gala.

He loves creating special commission pieces so you can enjoy browsing the paintings and prints knowing that you can request something similar in a size that works for your environment. Fly fishing portraits do make a great family heirloom piece especially since the collage style portraits can include several family members.
